The AIM-traded decision intelligence software provider said the transaction covered trademarks held in the UK, US, Australia and the EU, and would not affect its underlying product offering.
It added that its WorkiQ product would be rebranded in due course following completion of the sale.
The board said the disposal would have no impact on the company’s decision intelligence software suite, while providing additional capital to support the business.
ActiveOps said it was currently considering how best to deploy the proceeds and would provide a further update alongside its full-year results in early July.
At 1115 BST, shares in ActiveOps were up 5.77% at 196.2p.
