The AIM-traded company said its Ansible Motion unit has secured a €9.7m order to supply advanced driver-in-the-loop simulation systems to a major European original equipment manufacturer, with the bulk of revenue expected to be recognised in the second half of its 2026 financial year and the first half of 2027.

It said the deal would add further visibility to the group’s medium-term revenue pipeline and strengthen its position in the simulation market.

New chief executive Sarah Matthews-DeMers, whose appointment took effect on Monday following the departure of James Routh from the board on 30 November, said the award “maintains and strengthens AB Dynamics' position in the simulation market and is testament to the trusted position the Group holds.”

She added that the contract supports the company’s growth ambitions.

“Building on our already strong order book this contract increases visibility for 2026 and beyond.

“This also demonstrates how our future growth prospects remain supported by long-term structural and regulatory growth drivers in active safety, autonomous systems and the automation of vehicle applications, underpinning our medium-term financial objectives,” she said.

“We look forward to continuing to deliver the highest performing and highest quality simulators to support our customers.”

At 1220 GMT, shares in AB Dynamics were down 0.25% at 1,311.77p.
